DuelDuck Resolution & Reputation System: How Fair Outcomes Are Enforced
Learn how DuelDuck’s creator-resolved duels, reputation tiers, and dispute reporting system work - including self-resolve restrictions, reputation points, and how to restore your access after an incorrect resolve.
DuelDuck gives duel creators the option to resolve their own duels - a feature called self-resolve. To keep this power fair, the platform runs a reputation system that tracks each creator’s resolution history. If a creator resolves a duel incorrectly and a report is approved by an admin, their self-resolve access is restricted and their reputation score drops. This article explains how every part of that system works.
What Is a Creator-Resolved Duel on DuelDuck?
A creator-resolved duel is a duel where the platform does not decide the outcome - the creator does. When you join or vote in such a duel, you accept the risk that the result may be incorrect or biased.
In such cases, funds cannot be reversed or refunded. Creator-resolved duels are clearly labeled before you enter, so you always know who will decide the outcome.
Why Is My DuelDuck Self-Resolve Restricted? How Do I Unlock It?
Your self-resolve access is restricted because you incorrectly resolved at least two of your own duels, and those outcomes were confirmed as unfair by admin review.
While restricted, you can still create and participate in duels - you just cannot resolve them yourself. The platform will resolve your duels instead.
How Does the DuelDuck Reputation System Work?
When you register, you start with 20 reputation points and the Questionable Duck status. Your score changes based on how you create and resolve duels.
Reputation tiers
Status | Reputation Range |
Dangerous Duck | 0 – 19 pts |
Questionable Duck | 20 – 49 pts |
Trusted Duck | 50 – 79 pts |
Verified | 80 – 100 pts |
How to earn (and lose) reputation
Action | Reputation < 50 | Reputation ≥ 50 |
Platform-resolved duel created | +2 pts per one USDC, SOL, or SPL duel | +0.25 pts per one USDC, SOL, or SPL duel |
Self-resolved duel (correct) | +3 pts per one USDC, SOL, or SPL duel | +0.5 pts per one USDC, SOL, or SPL duel |
Incorrect resolve (1st) | −10 reputation pts | −10 reputation pts |
Incorrect resolve (2nd) | full reputation reset + self-resolve restriction | full reputation reset + self-resolve restriction |
What Happens If I Incorrectly Resolve a Duel on DuelDuck?
An incorrect resolve is counted when all of the following conditions are met:
You selected the self-resolve option when creating the duel.
You resolved the duel and it was reported by other user(s).
The report was approved by a DuelDuck admin.
Penalties:
1st incorrect resolve: −10 reputation points.
2nd incorrect resolve: full reputation reset (to 0 points) and a temporary self-resolve restriction.
How Do I Report an Incorrect Duel Resolution on DuelDuck?
If you believe a creator resolved a duel incorrectly, you can submit a report directly from the duel page. Reports are reviewed by a DuelDuck admin. If the report is approved, the creator receives a reputation penalty as described above.
Only participants of the duel can submit a report. Reports must be submitted within the allowed window after the duel is resolved.
